USA Field Hockey and the Living Classrooms Foundation are partnering to host a free Learn to Play Field Hockey Summer Camp. After reading the State of Play: Baltimore report, USA Field Hockey realized that field hockey was not on the radar of youth in the study area of Project Play: Baltimore and now that are inspired to change that by creating opportunities for kids to sample the sport. Local youth are invited to learn to play field hockey and engage in fun, competitive games on UTZ Field at Patterson Park (200 S Linwood Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224). The first session will be exclusively for Living Classrooms Foundation campers from noon to 2:30 PM. The second session will also be free and run from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. This session will be open to Baltimore kids ages five and up. No experience is required, and all equipment will be provided.
