Under Armour

To help civic and sport groups mobilize, Under Armour is partnering with the Aspen Institute to create Project Play: Baltimore. The initiative is designed to understand key barriers and develop realistic strategies to increase participation while documenting relevant findings with the goal of driving results across the city and country. The multi-year initiative will work to expand the quality and quantity of sport experiences for local youth so they may receive all of the associated physical, mental and social-emotional benefits.

We firmly believe that every young person should experience the life-changing impact of sport participation. This initiative will bring together thought leaders, caregivers, and community institutions to work toward sustainable solutions as well as highlight innovative programs that could become a model for others to follow. Community sports programs are the heartbeat of healthy, thriving communities - Project Play: Baltimore is an important next step in our collective efforts to ensure access for all.
